What led you to do the work you do? I love having a portfolio of clients and working with business owners that apply their skills and knowledge to the creation of jobs and value to our society.

Describe your ideal client: A business owner that needs and wants professional help in addressing the challenges to their business. I help my client by freeing them up from many tasks and issues that keep them from
their customers.

What situation or circumstances might lead a prospective client to your services?  Virtually all my clients come from warm referrals from their trusted business advisors that know my work and rely on my integrity.

What’s the best way for colleagues to refer prospective clients to you?  An introduction to meet with the prospective client and allow me to perform a Discovery Analysis that is focused on identifying issues with their current processes and practices and the solutions to get to their desired benefits.

How does a typical engagement begin?  I perform a complementary Discovery Analysis that provides a clear statement of where they are, where they want to be and a strategy to get there with a proposed schedule of
deliverables and my proposed fee structure.

What services might a typical engagement include?  Developing a strategic plan, budgets and scorekeeping tools. Executing strategic plans. Performing advanced due diligence in anticipation of a transition or sale of the company.  Strengthening existing accounting, finance and administrative functions.

What about your work gives you greatest satisfaction?  Solving problems with my clients and helping them build the value of their business and create jobs.

What do you enjoy doing most when you’re not serving your clients?  Racing sailboats.
